ok, I need to vent and need to do so now lest I explode. I love Jrock, especially visual kei and have a huge respect for Yoshiki. I don't really go idolizing anybody but my feeling for him is akin to it. on the other hand I don't really have much of a regard for K-pop. what happened is this two thing collide.t.co/P3OSMrocby
this was posted last night. today I spent a good portion of the day listening to this group Bts and I really can't say that I am impressed, even a little. I just don't see where the amazing talent bit came from. what was he thinking when he post that. am I overreating? I just can't seem to assimilate it.

He was being polite with the amazing part. They are talented performers, but they're not musicians so it's unfair to even compare most k-pop grounds with Jrock bands. As a Gackt fan, it's well known that his dancing leaves much to be desired. (Maybe on purpose, but maybe not). My point being, you can be talented at things and not the full performance.

Yoshiki is a music producer as well, perhaps he just wants to diversify his business? Didn't he already produce the Korean group The Trax?

yeah, it might be politeness.
workwise, I think Yoshiki has already overladen himself. the X fans are still waiting for the new album, and it's been nearly 2 years.

Yeah, Yoshiki puts out a thousand projects at once and is lucky to achieve one. Kind of like I used to be with fanfiction.
