mobile game addiction
Sep. 19th, 2017 06:29 pmLately, I have been spending nearly all my time in a mobile app game to the detriment of my studies and other activities. I tried to control myself but things got worse instead of better. I uninstalled that app today. Although there is a sense of loss in that feeling I have started to realise just how much captivated I was. Honestly, I didn't think I would get this enamoured. I also ended up spending a good deal of money as well. I really lost my sense of proportion. I just hope that my resolve of never playing that game again hold fast.

Take Fire Emblem Fates for instance. There's a plot choice in the game that leads you through two different games, Fates Birthright and Fates Conquest. You buy only one, the other is DLC or buying the second game. You could argue about the size of the disk, but why make two plot lines other than money? Then they made the THIRD plotline that can only be purchased with a limited edition or as DLC.
Really, it's too much, even if you are playing several different games in theory. It's cheap, because they could have made three unique games. At least Pokemon was designed to be a game about trading, which is why their are two versions to each game.
